Living as an autistic adult can feel like navigating a world that isn’t designed for you. Society often pushes a narrative of success, happiness, and clear-cut goals, but those ideals don’t always align with how I experience the world. Over time, I’ve learned that success, fulfillment, and happiness don’t come from conforming to societal expectations — they come from figuring out what works for me, even if it doesn’t fit the typical mold. Here’s what I’ve learned about living authentically as an autistic adult:
