The autism community stands at a crossroads of change and self-definition. For a long time, autism was primarily viewed through a clinical lens, seen as a deviation from the norm that needed to be treated, adjusted, or corrected. However, in recent decades, a movement has emerged that no longer perceives autism as a deficiency but as a unique and valuable way of being.
